About Nursery Education
During the academic year 2004 - 2005, the initial nursery school teacher training programme started with a renewed training concept in the first year, focusing on fundamental learning.
- The competencies of a beginning nursery school teacher form an ideal tool to define knowledge, skills and attitudes.
- The concept is divided into several parts, all integrated into a clear and coherent module.
- Different working methods will help you acquire the necessary competencies, taking different learning styles into account.
You will be offered a maximum chance of self-reliant and self-guided learning.
Nursery Education
Course content
In the first year, the emphasis is on self-solicitude, this will evolve to solicitude for the task and solicitude for the other in the second and third year of the training.
The first year is your orientation, the second year will deepen and the third year will enlarge your knowledge and competencies.
Work placement
In the third year you are about half of the year “in the field”. You will get more freedom to choose your teaching practice schools.
